Standard Purchasing Terms for the online shop: biovotec.com/regevet (regevet.biovotec.com)
Welcome to the webshop of Biovotec DAC (biovotec.com/regevet), an Irish company registered at Suite JG09, Hamilton Building, Dublin City University, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, Ireland, with company registration number 566249 and VAT number IE3381098FH.
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of goods from our online shop biovotec.com/regevet, for customers located in France, and later, also other countries. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and a representative of a specific Veterinary Clinic (purchasing for business purposes ONLY: to treat pets in said clinic) to place an order.
Orders are placed via our website, by selecting goods, adding them to your cart, and completing the checkout process, by clicking “Pay” (or similar), you acknowledge your obligation to pay for the goods.
Upon receiving your order, we will send an acknowledgment email (Order Confirmation). The contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order via said Order Confirmation email. If we cannot fulfill your order (e.g., due to stock unavailability), we will notify you promptly and refund any payment.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if there are errors in pricing, product descriptions, not a veterinary clinic in France/not practicing in France, suspected breach of other terms in our Standard Purchasing Terms, or suspected fraudulent activity.
All prices are displayed in Euro (€), and should not include neither Irish VAT (23%), nor French VAT (20%), unless otherwise stated, since we currently only accept French veterinary clinics (APE/NAF code: 75.00Z) with a valid French VAT number, hence 0% VAT on B2B invoices from an Irish to a French company.
Both having a valid VAT numbers in their own country (reverse charge, EU VAT rules, Directive 2006/112/EC). Product Prices exclude delivery costs, but larger orders, or campaigns could include it in the offering. Either will be clearly stated at the check-out, before pressing the pay button.
We accept payments via [credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay).
We also accept payment via wire transfer, see payment instructions on the Invoice.
Full payment, according to Invoice, is required at the time of order placement. Goods will not be dispatched until payment is received.
If you pay via wire transfer, order placement will be when payment via wire-transfer is registered received.
If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before processing the order. You may cancel the order or proceed at the correct price.
We ONLY deliver to French veterinary clinic, registered as such in the French company registry. You must register as such, and get validated by us, before being able to order RegeVet online.
Estimated delivery times are 3-5 working days, from the date we register payment on the order.
These are estimates, mostly dependent on how well the standard postal service at your local works, delays may occur due to holidays, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances.
Delivery costs are automatically calculated by us, and will also be added automatically, if not included (waived by campaigns or larger orders). You can also opt to pick-up the goods yourself, if so, please tick this option, or else the ordered good will be presented with Delivery Cost and shipped, after registered paid.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. Ownership transfers when full payment is received.
If goods are not delivered within 7 working days of paying, and receiving Invoice Payment Receipt, please contact us, in our support page, fill in the form, and remember to indicate invoice number. You may request a refund if we cannot resolve the issue within 14 days, after being notified.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel your order without reason, starting from the day you receive the goods. This right does not apply to personalized goods, perishable items, or sealed goods (e.g., DVDs, software), including DermaRep, if the seal has been broken, stored outside ambient temperature (5 – 30 Celsius), or otherwise damaged in any way.
To cancel, notify us in writing, via our support page within 14 days. Return the goods to BIOVOTEC SARL, 535 route des Lucioles, Les Aqueducs Bat 3, 06560 Valbonne, France - within 14 days of notifying us.
You are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
We will refund the price of the goods (including the shipping cost on the Invoice you received from us, if any shipping cost paid at that time) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return. Refunds can unfortunately only be issued to the original payment method.
Goods must be returned unused, in their original packaging, undamaged and in the same condition as received, including no packaging seals broken.
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose, as per the Irish Sale of Goods Act and EU Directive 1999/44/EC.
If goods are faulty or not as described, within 14 days, you are entitled to get a replacement, or return it and get a refund.
Contact us at our support page with details of the and proof of purchase. We will likely request photos upon receiving the goods, and ask you to return the goods for inspection.
If the returned goods is confirmed faulty, we will also return the shipment cost similar to the shipping cost when sent to you, or less, if actual is less.
We comply with Irish and EU VAT regulations. We collect and process personal data (e.g., name, address, payment details) to fulfil your order, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Your data will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for order fulfilment (e.g., delivery services) or legal compliance.
We will only send marketing communications if you have consented. You may opt out at any time.
If you have a complaint, contact us at our support page. We aim to resolve issues within 14 days.
For disputes with us, you can contact the European Consumer Centre (ECC) Ireland.
Complaints about our practices can be directed to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) in Ireland.
Our liability is limited to the price of the goods purchased. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profits).
We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes).
These terms are governed by Irish law. However, French consumers may benefit from mandatory consumer protections under French law.
Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, unless French consumer law grants you the right to bring claims in France.
We strive to ensure product descriptions and prices are accurate but are not liable for errors.
Goods are subject to availability. We may substitute goods with equivalent items if agreed with you.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in law or business practices. The latest version will be available on our website, and significant changes will be notified to you.
